FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Your Questions, Answered
I WAS RECENTLY LIVE SCANNED, CAN I JUST USE THAT ONE?
No, is the short answer. Requesting agencies are not legally allowed to share results. Even though you were recently scanned and approved for one organization those results cannot be shared. While it can be frustrating to have to be live scanned multiple times it protects your information from falling into the wrong hands.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY LIVE SCAN?
You will need to bring your valid government issued ID (copies and photos are not accepted) and you will need to bring your "Request for Live Scan Service" form.
WHAT DO I DO AFTER I GET SCANNED?
After you get scanned you wait until you hear from your requesting agency. Live scan companies cannot see what is on your record and we cannot check the status. The requesting agency is the only entity that is allowed to see your results. They will review the results and inform you of the next step in their process.
